Not A Girl, Not Yet A Librarian

Bless Britney Spears.
My teen-hood would not have been the same without her.
Being unmarried/without child at 28....soon to be 29,
I am definitely in the middle of two stages in life.
Somewhere between being a single girl in her mid/late 20s and
An old spinster librarian type.......
Somewhere between loving Ke$sha and Murder She Wrote.
I am my in my own category.

Beaches, Beers and Boots

My good friend Rachel and I took a mini vacay to Rehobeth Beach, Delaware this week.
Here are a few instagram snapshots from the trip!
It may have been off season but we had a great getaway!
We were so excited to be there!!! Even if it was only 50 Degrees.
We were locked and loaded with our boots! But that didn't stop us from walking on the beach. No ma'am.
This is Rachel. She's not a photographer, noooooo........
It was eerily quiet....
DOGFISH HEAD Brewery was amazing!!! The food at the restaurant was amazing.
We even had fried pickles as an appetizer!

Dogfish Head, Bitches Brew.....DELICIOUS.
Later that night we ate a light dinner at Pig & Fish.
We also had a cocktail. This was called the Moscow Mule. So very yummy and very dangerous.
We stayed at an awesome, newly renovated Motel!!! Sooo inexpensive and the staff was very nice and helpful!
The next morning, thanks to some research by Rachel, we ventured to a beautiful local Lavender Farm!!!
The property was beautiful and would make an amazing venue for a Wedding!
Soooo many different types of Lavender! I had no idea.
After the Lavender Farm we ventured a few miles away to see the Dogfish Head Brewery!!!
We got to take a tour and have a tasting! Our tour guide, Dwayne, was chocked full of information and was very nice!
If you're ever in that area of Delaware and appreciate Craft Beer I recommend you stop by the Brewery!!!
Inside the Brewery!!! So many pipes, hoses and knobs!!! It was a little kids dream.
Beautiful wooden barrels. Built by hand. I wanted to take one home......but they were waaaay too heavy. Ha.
Bottles!!!! Believe it or not there was an entire room devoted to bottles! Crazy.
Our trip ended on a great note. Creepy drive by and photograph of this beauty!!!
The owner of the vehicle definitely saw us through her window.

Heard It Through The Grapevine

My family loves to visit a local vineyard called Sunset Hills every so often.
It's a beautiful property with restored barns and delicious food
My family, Pang, her boy and I went for Labor Day Weekend.
It was so much fun!
Here are just a couple snapshots from that overcast yet enjoyable day!

Friendship Isn't For The Birds

This is Pang.
This is the lady behind the scenes...snapping shots of myself and many others.
She's the most talented photographer I know.
She's my bestfriend and roommate.
These are for you to see! How I see her.
(also my apologies...at trying to be a photographer lol)

Garden Party

THIS CHAIR.
It's all about this chair. I want to have beautiful floral baby chairs with it.
Found at local indoor Flea Market (you know the one I always talk about)
Only $40. It is re-upholstered.
It makes me want to be pretty, wear slips and drink lots of tea.

FleaMarket Frenzy

I love Flea Markets. Especially all-year-round indoor Flea Markets.
We have one nearby in a small unincorporated town called, Halltown.
I visit there at least once a month. Usually on a Sunday or Monday morning.
Here are some shots taken by Pang of me perusing the record section of the Flea Market and
one of me just outside a loading dock of the Halltown Paper Recycling Plant.
